Dokumentarni serijal “Pravda za žene” u Srbiji
The series features 14 real, in-depth stories of women victims of violence in the Western Balkans and Turkey who were failed by the justice system.
The documentary series was produced by CSO partner Centre of Women’s Rights, based in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the technical support of UN Women and funded by the European Union.
The stories are drawn from the action-oriented regional research entitled “Is justice failing women survivors of violence: Action-oriented recommendations for effective prevention, protection and prosecution in the Western Balkans and Turkey” (May 2020), published by Centre of Women’s Rights within the regional programme “Ending violence against women in the Western Balkans and Turkey: Implementing Norms, Changing Minds”.
The series, launched during the regional conference “Access to justice for women victims and survivors of violence in the Western Balkans and Turkey in times of COVID-19,” that took place during 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence (25 November-10 December), is now available at UN Women ECA YouTube in English and local languages.
